We looked at the data.
The answer was clear.
Every paper box you see around a beauty product requires an entire chain of resources, energy and logistics — only to become waste the moment it's opened. Produced every year, thrown away every year. Again and again.
For us, this was not a sustainable choice. In fact, it was never really a question.
A paper box is not neutral packaging
Follow it from start to bin.
- A tree is cut down. Processed into pulp. Energy consumed at every step.
- Shaped, printed, lacquered in a factory. Inks, chemicals, heat.
- Transported to the manufacturer, then the warehouse, then the courier, then to you.
- You take out the bottle. The box goes straight in the bin.
This is not a bad decision by any one company. It is a flawed system that most beauty brands enter without a second thought.
